One of Tech to Transform's largest pillars is technology access; at the speed at which the world is progressing, affordable technology, at least for everyday use, needs to be of access everyone. To take a step in the right direction, our team will be hosting our first (hopefully of many!) tech drive. All tech donations will be given to Free Geek, a nonprofit for hardware access. Our goal is to garner 250 pieces of technology to be donated - help us get there!
The Grateful for Gadgets Drive will take place from November 10-November 24, 2024, at Eden Prairie High School, Eden Prairie Community Center, and Eden Prairie Prop Shop (hours are the same as location hours).
Accepted Items
We accept almost any piece of tech, no matter how old or broken. Computers, laptops, keyboards, cords, chargers, phones, digital cameras, VHS, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, Blu-ray players & media, video game consoles, games & controllers, calculators, electronic toys & games, networking equipment.
Free Geek
Free Geek is a non-profit thrift store for used computers and electronics, working to make affordable hardware available to everyone. They also take e-waste for recycling. All items received during the Grateful for Gadgets drive will be donated to Free Geek to be refurbished and utilized.
